THE SEA: This is the one I am not sure about. I made it using different textures of acrylic paint. I have also used seed beads and pearls.
I used 7 gypsies paper and stamped flowers on it. The bird is chipboard which I covered with a dictionary definition of "bird". It is then inked and then covered in UTEE. I inked and stuck on a definition from a dictionary to the top right.

TREES: The background is stamped and inked. The tree imaged is stamped using the "soot" technique.

INDIAN?HINDU inspired: I made the background teh Blonde moments ultra thick embossing powders. I mixed gold and a rich red colour. i did about 3 layers then stamped it with an indian paisley design. The elephant is stamped and embossed in gold on black card. It is painted with blonde moments pearl pigments and decoreated with some jewels.

FAIRYTALES: I did Rapunzel. I made a "tower" from chipboard and inked it in grey. I then embossed it with UTEE. When cold I cracked it, then inked over it with grey distress ink. The background is gessoed, inked layered with torn book pages. The text is cut from an actual old fairy story book. It is decorated with inked ribbon, flowers and hessian for the hair.
