News from the Craft Cabin

My Summer holidays started yesterday afternoon.  I had to make a quick trip to a "clean while you wait" dry cleaners...... long story...... So took the opportunity to pop into B&Q  and get some blinds for my cabin.  Please remind me NEVER to take a job as a blind fitter lol!!  Needless to say its going to be a long job altering and fitting the "bargain venetian blinds.  Each slat has to be cut individually then to shorten them I had to pull all the rope out, remove slats then re thread them all!!

This afternoon after only doing 1 out the 3 blinds I gave an old truck a clean.  The trunk belonged to my Grandfather and travelled with him to India during the war.  My Parents were going to throw it out during a recent spring clean and I rescued it.  I will use it to hold "odds and ends" that need hidden.
